NOVEMBER 2018 Piano News
Important: No Lessons on Wednesday Nov. 21, Thanksgiving Thursday Nov. 22, and Saturday Nov.24th will be holidays with no lessons on those dates. We will have lessons on Monday, Nov. 26th and continue on through until Christmas vacation.
Competitions Be sure to attend our Competitions this month. We hope you’ll be participating or attending!
Performance Party is Sat. Nov.10 th at 11 AM and Jr. Div. is Sat. Nov. 10th at 12:30 PM (Note new time). PPP and Junior Division will be at Jacobs Music in Doylestown, PA (NEW Location!
Senior Division will be Saturday Nov. 17th at 1 PM and will be held at Jacobs Music in Doylestown, PA (Note NEW location
All events at Jacobs Music Hall in Doylestown, PA. Judy has maps if needed!
Everyone who is participating (PPP, Junior and Senior DIV) will need to include $8 per song played at Competition with your Nov. tuition payment. Thank you!
Please bring 3 copies of the music-with the measures numbered-to Competition. Competition is a “dress-up” event-young ladies, please wear dresses-young men should wear long sleeved shirts. A tie is extra nice. Thank you!
Refreshments We need volunteers to sign up to bring snacks and drinks. Please let Judy know if you could help. Thanks!
Judy has preparation sheets and maps available in the Music Room By having an event to prepare for is a great motivational tool for your young person. It’s fun and teaches them performing skills. Be sure to be a part of the fun. Please come and support the students.
We are all looking forward to our performances with great anticipation. A lot of hard work and many hours of practice have gone into the preparation for the Competitions and we can’t wait to do our best!
Piano Purchase: Many of you have asked us about buying a piano. Please be careful about buying pianos from the classified ads. We will always refer you to a good reputable dealer such as Jacobs Music and encourage the purchase of a good instrument. If you need a piano-we can help. Wow-what a great Christmas present for the family!
Thanksgiving is this month and we are all thankful for our students and their parents. We appreciate your support and encouragement throughout the year.
