Welcome to all new students! We are pleased to have you join our musical family!

We hope all of you have enjoyed a great summer in spite of the challenges and circumstances. We are very pleased at how well everyone is doing. Summer was a good time to make a lot of progress.

No lessons on Monday Sept. 6—Labor Day-GSPS is closed. Thank you!

Fall Schedule  starts Monday August 30^th. Our Group Theory Class is still temporarily suspended. We hope to be able to resume groups next Spring.

KinderKeys—our Preschool Musical Kindergarten for ages 3-4-5 yr. olds is also still temporarily suspended. We hope to be able to resume next February.

Keyboard Adventures group program ages 5-6-7 is scheduled to begin on Thursday Sept.16^th. Please contact us for details asap!

Piano Practice: 100-Day Challenge! 

GrandStaff Piano Studio 100 Day Challenge is still on hold but may be conducted later on in the semester if possible.

Our students practice for 100 consecutive days to be eligible for a Pizza Party with prizes and games-and have their names submitted to the Piano Explorer magazine. (If possible) The Challenge dates will be announced later in the Fall. Remember-Practice does not make perfect-Perfect practice makes perfect!

Competitions  The dates for Fall Competitions have been set. Please mark your calendars now and encourage your young person to press forward to be ready.

Junior Div. (3-4-5) Sat. Nov. 13^th at 11 AM (Gr. 3-4-5)

Senior Div. Sat. Nov. 13th @1 PM (Gr. 6-12)

All events at Highland Park Camp Hall, Sellersville, Pa. (maps available). Ask your teacher about preparing a song.

KEYBOARD Adventures!

Keyboard Adventures is an introductory piano method for groups of young beginners, ages 5-6-7, and is an exciting, new alternative to private piano instruction. Lessons present a balance of singing, moving, drumming, writing, and reading activities-together with playing at the keyboard. Keyboard Adventuresis carefully planned and sequenced to meet the developmental needs of the students. The small group of children will learn a collection of songs with associated activities. Singing will encourage tonal development as well as establish a keyboard repertoire. Moving and drumming activities will establish the body as a rhythmic instrument. Keyboard activities will establish technique, repertoire, and application of a musical personality.

A semester of Keyboard Adventures consists of 9 weekly 60-minute group lessons.

Fall Semester begins on Thursday Sept. 16^th.

Keyboard Adventures is offered at the GrandStaff Piano Studio in Quakertown, Pa. (215-536-5147) on Thursday evening from 5 to 6 PM.
